Chaithanya Mahila Mandali

Chaithanya Mahila Mandali (CMM) is a registered nonprofit, nonreligious and nonpolitical organization. The strategy of CMM is to work with a network of CBOs, NGOs, the Government and other like-minded agencies as well as with individuals (from India and abroad).

CMM’s work has impacted 4642 women and girls and 1973 vulnerable and disadvantaged children during the FY 2018-19. The organisation empowers the vulnerable children, girls and women by protecting them from neglect and abuse. CMM supports them develop interest in education, acquire IT Skills, Skill Development Training, Awareness building on reproductive health and rights, healthy diet/nutrition’s, motivating them to fight against human trafficking and Sexual abuse, de-addiction and also HIV/AIDS issues.

CMM’s Model home takes care of the parent-less and daughters of women victims living in and affected by forced sexual slavery with the aim to intervene early to prevent these girls from the possible dangerous entry (to forced sexual slavery) due to their helpless living environment.
